Such matters have something to do with the law of the country or place where you are living. If there is no legal restriction in this regard and there is also a rational benefit in trading wild animals, there would be no problem.

Grand Ayatollah Khamenei (may Allah grant him long life):
It depends on the law concerning such matters; if there is no legal restriction in this regard, there would be no problem.
Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi (may Allah grant him long life):
If it has any rational benefit, there is no problem in it.
Grand Ayatollah Saafi Gulpaigani (may Allah grant him long life):
There is no objection in it except for trading dogs and pigs. In case, they trade dogs and pigs, it is necessary that they should do Musalaha (reconcile with each other) on the received money.
Ayatollah Mahdi Hadavi Tehrani (may Allah grant him long life):
If a person gets the possession of an animal through lawful ways such as legal hunting, there is no problem in trading animals except for when such an action is inconsistent with the law of the Islamic state.
